1. Introduction

Welcome to Routinify, developed by Studio Catapano. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS habit tracking and AI coaching application.

2. Information We Collect

Routinify is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect minimal information:

• Habit Data: Habit names, goals, frequencies, notes, and completion events are stored locally on your device only.
• User Preferences: Accessibility settings, AI preferences, and notification settings are stored locally on your device.
• AI Query Data (Premium Only): When you use AI coaching features, the following data is sent to Catasoft's server (catasoft.it) and processed by our own AI system to generate coaching suggestions: habit names you have created, streak counts, goals and thoughts you type in the AI coach, habit categories, and aggregated completion rates. No data is shared with third parties. We do not send your name, email, Apple ID, health records, device identifiers, or location.
• Subscription Information: When you subscribe to Premium, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive only basic subscription status from Apple's StoreKit framework.

3. How We Use Your Information

All data you enter is used solely to provide the app's functionality:

• Habit data for tracking your routines, streaks, and completion history
• User preferences for personalising your experience
• Anonymised queries processed by Catasoft's own AI system to generate personalised coaching suggestions (Premium only)
• Subscription status to enable premium features

4. Data Storage

Local Storage Only: All your habit data (habits, events, preferences, AI recommendations) is stored exclusively on your iOS device using SwiftData. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

iCloud: If you have iCloud backup enabled on your device, your Routinify data may be included in your iCloud backups, governed by Apple's iCloud policies and end-to-end encryption standards.

No Cloud Sync: We do not provide cloud synchronisation between devices. Each device maintains its own local database.

5. AI Features & Data Processing (Premium)

When you use AI coaching features in Routinify Premium:

• Data sent: Habit names, streak counts, goals and thoughts you type, habit categories, and aggregated completion rates are sent to Catasoft's server (catasoft.it) and processed by our own AI system to generate coaching responses. No data is shared with or forwarded to third parties
• We do NOT send personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email, Apple ID, or device identifiers
• We do NOT send health or medical records
• AI responses are cached locally on your device for up to 7 days to minimise external requests
• You can disable AI features and revoke data sharing at any time in Settings → Privacy & Consent
• AI features require explicit opt-in, data sharing consent, and medical disclaimer acceptance before first use
• When you revoke AI consent, all AI-related data is deleted from our servers

AI Processing: AI requests are processed exclusively by Catasoft using our own AI system. No data is forwarded to third-party services. Requests are processed transiently and are not linked to your identity.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We do not share your data with third parties except:

• AI Processing (Premium only): Habit names, streak counts, goals, thoughts, categories, and completion rates are sent to Catasoft's server and processed by our own AI system for coaching responses. No data is shared with third parties
• Apple: Subscription status via StoreKit 2 (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
• Legal Requirements: If required by applicable law or government request

7. Data Exports

You can export your habit progress as a CSV file at any time from Settings → Your Data → Export Progress. This export is created locally on your device and shared only when you explicitly choose to do so.

8. Data Deletion

You can delete individual habits and all their history from within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored Routinify data permanently.

9. Children's Privacy

Routinify is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through our app, please contact us.

10. Analytics

Routinify does not use any third-party analytics or AI frameworks. All analytics are computed locally on your device and are never transmitted externally. AI coaching is processed exclusively by Catasoft's own AI system.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
